Surviving Members of Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, Beck, and More Announce Special Performance in LA

On January 4, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, Calif., Dave Grohl, along with the surviving members of Nirvana, are set to join Marilyn Manson, Beck, and others for a special night of music and fun.

The Heaven Is Rock & Rock gala benefits the charity group Art of Elysium, which supports artists working for the benefit of others. According to their website:

“Our team members at The Art of Elysium work with volunteer artists to craft creative, tailor-made programs for the populations we serve. We currently offer 110 community programs a month, serving over 30,000 individuals a year. Volunteer artist are then eligible for support services, ranging from artist salons and networking events to showcases and distribution opportunities. We currently serve 2,510 artists a year in Los Angeles. “

Art of Elysium announced the event via Instagram.

“Heaven is calling … it wants Rock N’ Roll back,” the post reads. “This one night only curated installation is gearing up to be a Rock N’ Roll lineup never seen before and never to be seen again! We have a few epic surprises in store. Be sure to get tickets while they’re still available. January 4, 2020! You’re not ready!”

The lineup includes:

Dave Grohl with Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear (Novoselic is a founding member of Nirvana, and Smear joined the group in 1993. Smear has been a consistent member of The Foo Fighters, Grohl’s other band, since 2010.)
