Rob Gronkowski Announces Gronk Beach, Pre-Super Bowl Music Festival

Rob Gronkowski

Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski recently announced a “Gronk-ified” pre-Super Bowl party. He joked with Billboard, “No one knows the Super Bowl like me.” Rather than suit up and play, he “is going huge with the debut of [his] very own music festival.”

Gronk Beach, as the festival is aptly named, will be held on February 1, 2020, one day prior to the Super Bowl, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST. It will take place in Florida at the North Beach Bandshell and Beach in Miami.

Gronkowski’s lineup currently includes Diplo, Kaskade, Rick Ross, Carnage, Flo Rida, and more. In addition to live music, the pre-Super Bowl bash will include food, drinks, games, and beach performers.

In typical Gronk-fashion, he told Billboard, “I’m retired, for sure,” before adding, “Unless they allow me to show up a little late for the game because I’m coming to this party. I don’t know if the team would allow me to do that, just stroll in late, maybe a little hungover, and give me, I don’t know, 30 plays in the game … then that’s a different story.”

In all seriousness, Gronkowski is finished with football. His future is bright, and this music festival is likely only the beginning.
