Excision to Headline Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival, Full Lineup Announced

The Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival recently announced the full lineup for 2020. After headlining both days in 2019, Excision (Jeff Abel) is back again this year.

He will perform a traditional set, as well as a “Detox” set, which is a more experimental version of Excision’s standard performances. Detailing the “Detox” set, Abel said,

“Hey Everyone! I’m seeing a lot of questions asking what a detox set is, so I wanted to attempt to give you some insight of where it’s all coming from. Over the years of scouring the earth for the best bass music I could find, every once in a while I would come across a gem that was extremely dope, but didn’t quite fit the high energy vibe of an Excision set. I definitely wouldn’t call Detox a ‘chill set,’ it’s more of a chance for me to push creative boundaries with everything ranging from weird, experimental, heavy, vibey, and underground songs.”

He continues,

“Detox isn’t just a chance to show a different side of me that I wouldn’t otherwise get to share, it’s also a chance for me to support artists that are expanding the boundaries of bass music and help give them the attention they deserve. See you all this weekend!”

Forbidden Kingdom is set to take place on February 15 and 16, 2020. The event will be held at Sunset Cove in Boca Raton, Florida.
