Alanis Morisette Returns with Plans for First New Album in 8 Years

The Canadian-born Alanis Morisette is back with a couple of announcements.

First, her best-selling album Jagged Little Pill is officially 25 years old, and Morisette is heading out on tour in celebration. The tour begins at the beginning of June in Portland, Oregon. Liz Phair and Garbage are Morisette’s supporting acts.

Second, Morisette is releasing new music for the first time since 2012. “Reasons I Drink” is the first single from her upcoming album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road. This will be her first full-length release since Havoc and Bright Lights.

Her tour presale begins on Tuesday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. local time. The general public will have a chance at tickets on Friday, December 13th at the same time.

Such Pretty Forks in the Road will be available worldwide on May 1st, 2020.
